Before and After School Programs

Auburn High School

Auburn High School After School Program

The BOOKER T. WASHINGTON after school program is open to all youth attending Auburn High School.  The program operates Monday thru Friday from 2:30 till 6:00pm with extended hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Transportation is provided home to all students enrolled in the program.

High School Students are expected to take part in the academic/tutoring hour offered from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. prior to participating in further activities.  

Daily activities planned include Zumba classes two times per week, basketball and workout sessions, STEP Team, Boxing, African Drumming, arts and crafts, and cooking.  Male and Female rites of passage programs are also offered on a weekly basis.  During these sessions participants will discuss financial responsibility, drug abuse prevention, and abstinence.  

Teens interested in college can participate in our College Tours as well as a College Open House. These activities will help to answer the many questions involved in pursuing student√≠s education.  Advanced registration is required.
